What clients mainly want these days are photographs that capture the essence of their event. The want images that remind everyone who went, that they had an amazing time and make people who didn’t attend, wish they had! It is the best way to ensure that your guests will have lasting memories of your event.
It could be an image of the venue or the food and drink on offer, but most of all it will be the memories and moments captured between the guests, evoking real emotions, finding the parts of the day or evening where people are focused on a conversation, a reaction or an activity, without them even realising I’m there. Being able to capture people’s most natural and ‘best bits’ as I like to refer to them as, is what I do best!

Event photography is quite a broad brush in terms of a description. I cover pretty much everything; private parties of all descriptions (adult and child), baby showers, gender reveals, awards ceremonies, corporate functions, whatever you may require, you can count on me to be able to convey the heart and personality of the event.
So, why do I think it’s important to have a photographer at these milestone and momentous events? Well, because they are simply that. They are something you can look back on fondly and on the day in questions, you don’t have to worry about running round and taking photos of everything, you can relax and enjoy yourself knowing that a professional has everything in hand. The amount of times I have heard “I hardly took any pictures” with a forlorn look on their face. I’ve had some wonderful reviews from people in this regard, one which sticks in my mind the most was along the lines of “I didn’t take one picture, yet she managed to capture everything I remember about the evening”.

Corporate event photography can also reinforce your brand identity and can be used in your marketing materials, websites, and social media to create a consistent brand image.
So what do I do? I move seamlessly around the venue, almost stealth-like, in order to be discreet, enabling me to capture those images, not even realising I’m there in most instances. I’m also on hand for those moments where people say “can you take picture of us please” as they want to have something documented to look back on. I shoot predominantly candid and documentary, so it’s important that when choosing a photographer, you like their style and it’s what you had envisaged, so no one is disappointed with the end result.
I always encourage my future clients to look at my reviews on Trustpilot and my portfolios so they have a feel for me and my style and most importantly, what other people think, as I’m a big advocate for word of mouth. I want clients to feel comfortable and confident that I am who I say I am and do what I say I do!
